This musical is impossible to describe, but a very good viewing. This film never stops moving and is extremely well-directed by John Cameron Mitchell, who also gives a superior performance as Hedwig,. The songs are loud but very good, performed with gusto and tons of energy. A rare Hollywood film that doesn't play it safe with its sexual content,humor,and also doesn't wimp out at the end. A one of a kind film athat is well worth seeing.
